Different kinds of beds
There are various kinds of beds which are used today. There are the air mattresses that come without any fillings or springs. There are the portable ones where the mattress levels can be adjusted with the use of a pump and the same can be raised to a certain level. They are very flexible and also adjust to the shape of the body to provide it the maximum level of comfort. The airbeds are usually having a layer of foam at the top so that the comfort level can be improved and the air can be prevented from puncturing. These are very common for the camping purposes and also for extra guests. It can also be used as a mattress for the sofa beds.
The Canopy Beds are the ones which can add more luxury and style to an extravagant room. The bed is more commonly known as the four poster bed. It is very similar to the other kinds of beds that are made with wood and other metals and is covered by a canopy cloth. These are available in a huge range of varieties and styles. They are made especially at times and have the canopy frames which will allow the fabric to flow like a drape. The use of silk and satin in a canopy can make it look richer. These beds are ideal for the ambience of a romantic bedroom and similar kind of decor.
The futon beds are generally the sofa beds which play the dual role of sofa along with a bed. The bed is made of wood or metal frame and is covered with a thin layer. The frame can be adjustable, to use it as a bed at night and as sofa at day time. However these beds often get the complaints of discomfort, but they are the ideal option for reducing the space problems.
The Murphy beds or the wall beds are named after its founder William Murphy. These have been made ideally to constraint space problems. The bed can be folded in to the wall during the day and at night it can be taken out to be used as a bed. Later on the founder had also invented a new way of hiding the bed in to the closet door. The two common styles of Murphy which exist today are the original wall style also called the panel style and the closet style.
